** BE WARNED – like my entire life this week, this post was created on the run, it has been created without reading glasses or spell check, grammar Nazi’s may need to look away now **
I know many of you have been seraching around looking for this so here it is, the Thermomix Festive Flavours Booklet! (link at bottom of post)
I haven’t tried any of the recipes yet so please let me know how you go! I’m really looking forward to trying out some new recipes this year and most of all looking forward to still being able to cook this year – I’m not sure how I would have managed otherwise what with the business, Miss almost 12, Miss 2 “I run the household” and a half and a baby due mid December!
I have recently had quite a few successes with converting/creating family favourites and non TM recipes, most notably with a Chinese Chicken Curry inspired by Womens Weekly. It was absolutely sensational, but like everything in the past week, I made it on the fly one night and did not have time to take pictures. I will definitely be making the chicken curry again and a few other faves so stayed tuned for new recipes posts later in the week! (Update Nov 27: I’ve made it twice since and haven’t taken pics, I’m too pregnant I think, my brain isn’t working!)
I’m also working on a couple of other things behind the scenes, I’m a huge fan of Pinterest which you’ll soon be hearing a lot more about, but this time of year drives me crazy. I love Christmas and come from a European background, I grew up with fur, snow and winter wonderland recreated Christmases, as an adult I just don’t think it’s relevant so I’ve added a new category – Aussie Christmas. I’m hoping to inspire you all with lots of menu, decorating and general Christmas ideas that are more in keeping with the Australia seasons and climate.
Update Nov 27, 2012:
*The booklet has been removed at the request of Thermomix Australia* Please comment if you have tried any of the recipes and let us all know which as your favourite!
