Spelt Bread Rolls

I decided last week to make burgers for dinner and as much as we LOVE our focaccia recipe it was time to try something new, this recipe is from the EDC however as I as running out of bakers flour I swapped the quantaties of spelt and bakers flours.

250g Lukewarm water

1 sachet of dry yeast (or 2 teaspoons)

1 teaspoon of salt

200g bakers flour

300g spelt flour

30g vegetable oil

Place everything in bowl on speed 6 for 5 seconds

Set to clsoed lid position, keand on interval speed for 2 minutes

Leave in warm place to prove for 20 – 30  mins (I leave it in the TM jug) dough should double in size

Rub some oil on your palms and shape into rolls, flatten rolls slightly and sprinkle with seeds, place on baking tray

Let dough rise for a further 30 minutes in a warm place – pre heat oven to 200c

Bake for 20 mins or until golden brown

IMG_1812The original recipe says to place rolls in a flower pattern, as I was making 6 large for burgers instead of 12 dinner sized I placed them as above, they look a wonky mess but my goodness, they tasted amazing!
